Collalto Rosé is made from the Manzoni Moscato 13.0.25 grape, one of the most distinctive varieties created by renowned Treviso-area researcher Prof. Manzoni. He crossed two red-wine grapes, Raboso Piave and Moscato d’Amburgo, to produce a variety that is widely considered today among the finest grapes for producing aromatic sparkling wines. After years of research, Collalto has introduced this sparkling wine in a versatile extra-dry style, with a clean-edged, dry palate and a bouquet that creates a self-confident, appealing sensation of refreshing crispness.

Harvest period: Last week in September
Pressing: De-stemming, then cold maceration of the must on the skins for two days
