“Rosabianco” is a firmly-structured aromatic white wine produced from the Manzoni rosa 1-50, a fascinating grape that is a cross between the Trebbiano and Traminer aromatico varieties. With a subtly pinkish skin, it yields a white wine with an appealing, gold-flecked straw-yellow, and alluring notes of rose petals and ripe apricot. Its savoury, full-bodied palate is beautifully complemented by a refreshing, crisp acidity and an intriguing note of bitter almond. A wine of long local tradition interpreted in a modern key, styled for today’s lighter, contemporary cuisine.
